Dolphins Come to Georgia Aquarium

The world's largest aquarium just got bigger with the addition of AT&Ts Dolphin Tales. Opening April 2, Dolphin Tales is a 25-minute show full of dancing fountains, wind machines, light-up capes and a battle between the good guy, StarSpinner, and the bad Sea Monster that takes place in a 1.8 million gallon tank in the new 1800-seat amphitheater. Tickets are in addition to Aquarium admission and can be purchased at www.georgiaaquarium.org (For more on Dolphin Tales, click here to read Jan's blog.)

Biltmore's Festival of Flowers

This weekend marks the beginning of Biltmore's 26th annual Festival of Flowers. These gorgeous gardens on the 8000-acre estate are blooming with more than 100,000 tulips. The festival, which runs through May 18, includes live music and free seminars daily, a grape stomp and "Ask a Gardener" station. Stay at the Inn on Biltmore Estate and get three nights for the price of two, or get 20 percent off during the week in April. (See our current issue for more Flower Festivals around the world.) www.biltmore.com

Affaire in the Gardens

Things are also blooming in Beverly Hills with the 38th annual Affaire in the Gardens Art Show May 21 and 22 from 10 to 6. More than 250 artists will participate in the free event in the Beverly Gardens, which also includes art tours, dance performances, a wine garden and food stations. www.beverlyhills.org/artshow.

Pick of the Week

I hadn't ever really found a good way to remove fingerprints and streaks from my computer screen until now. The Teraglove microfiber cleaning kit is small and easy to use. It comes with a small squirt bottle you fill with water, spray on the cloth and wipe away those annoying smudges. When the cloth is dirty just toss it in the washer. $16 at www.moshimonde.com
