Best Vegas Bathrooms

I've learned that any trip to a new restaurant or lounge requires a trip to the bathroom – sometimes it's the most fascinating part, especially in Vegas. Now Las Vegas Weekly has come up with its list of the five best nightlife bathrooms: Vanity Nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino; Flirt Lounge at the Chippendales Theater Complex, Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino; Playboy Club/Moon Nightclub, The Palms Casino Resort; Mix Lounge, THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay and Déjà vu Erotic Ultra Lounge. The unisex lounge at Deja Vu, pictured, has LED lights that change color inside the stalls and glass doors that fog over when locked. Check them all out at  /www.lasvegasweekly.com/news/2010/

King Tut in Denver

The Denver Art Museum and Visit Denver have just launched a website with everything you need to know about the exhibition Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, at www.tutdenver.com. You can also find promotional offers from King Tut partners. Six hotels have exclusive packages, which allow you to bypass long lines. The exhibition, which starts July 1 and runs through January 2, 2011, includes the largest image of King Tut ever found, a 10-foot statue that has much of its original paint.

Calling 30 Rock Fans

Experience 30 Rock yourself at the Affinia Manhattan, where their package includes two tickets to the NBC Studio Tour, an NBC gift, two tickets to the FDNY Fire Zone, two tickets for ice skating at the Rockefeller Ice Rink and a scarf to keep you warm. Act quickly though, this package is only good through March. Rates start at $219 a night at this all-suites hotel. www.affinia.com/Special.aspx?name=30-Rock-NYC&cid=30ROCK_PR_5W_AM_012110

Heal Yourself
in Style

The Sacred Rock Villa Healing Suites has opened near Palm Springs, built on sacred Native American land. Before your arrival, your suite is "energetically cleared and enhanced with aromatherapy and Native American blessings, adorned with grounding sacred rocks, healing crystals and fresh flowers." Sounds a lot better than a paper strip around the toilet that says "Sanitized for your protection." The hotel features 11 saltwater pools and hot spas and a hammock garden. See more at www.sacredrocksuites.com

Pick of the Week

Our house is now a Barbie-free zone, but that may have to change with the introduction of the "Mad Men" Barbie and Ken dolls. There will only be 7000 to 10,000 of each doll and you're unlikely to see them at a four-year-olds birthday party. The suggested price is $74.95. Isn't that about what Don and Betty paid for their car? Look for the Don, Betty, Roger and Joan dolls to come out this summer to coincide with the beginning of the new season in July. You'll be able to buy them at amctv.com and barbiecollector.com.
