Pick of the Week
I have new favorite PJ's - perfect for home and travel. My Jennifer Capri Set pajamas from Cool-jam are comfortable, lightweight, quick-drying and so soft I hate to take them off in the morning. Cool-jam sleepwear is made with a special wicking fabric that not only feels silky soft, but also absorbs moisture and magically "wicks" it away from you. The line includes nightgowns, PJ sets and a variety of gowns, some of which could double as a dress or swimsuit cover-up. Prices start at around $29. www.cool-jams.com
Cherry Blossom Time
I'm so thrilled to be achieving one of my goals this spring-visiting DC during the National Cherry Blossom Festival, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. It was in 1912 that Japan gave the city 3,000 cherry blossom trees as a gift of friendship. We'll be staying at the elegant, recently refurbished Dupont Circle Hotel, a perfect location for sightseeing and visiting the blooms along the Tidal Basin. The Festival runs from March 20 to April 27. Here's hoping they are in bloom at the end of March
