Thailand Update
While parts of Thailand have been affected by flooding, most of Thailand's popular destinations in the North and South have experienced no flooding. Many areas in the central region are dry as well. Check Thai Airways International Public Company Limited for some special fares from November through December 10 through the "Southern Thailand Flood Relief" program for flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Thailand 's southern provinces. Black Friday Tea
My daughter and I have a tradition of going to tea the day after Thanksgiving. This year we're going to the Black Friday tea at St. Regis Atlanta, where the St. Regis is serving a lovely tea with sparkling wine that includes a $50 Saks Fifth Avenue gift card. Relax now; shop later. Holiday Tea is also being served daily through December.

Christmas at Biltmore
This may be the most beautiful home in America and even more so when it's decorated for Christmas with dozens of trees, hundreds of wreaths and miles of garland. George Vanderbilt first introduced the home to family and friends on Christmas Eve 1895. Visit during Candlelight Christmas Evenings for an even more special event as local choirs sing holiday favorites. Santa is there on the weekends too. Christmas at Biltmore is open through Jan. 1, 2012
