Congrats to Travelgirl Marybeth

Our Adventure Editor Marybeth Bond is being honored at a luncheon to benefit the National Osteoporosis Foundation In New York. Earlier this year we wrote about Marybeth's summer bike ride across America she took with her daughter to bring awareness to women's bone health and raise money for the foundation. They biked more than 3,000 miles and raised more than $52,000!
Read more about her ride at www.bondgirlsbikeamerica.com. Congrats Marybeth.

Take A Slide

Love this idea – Singapore's Changi Airport has unveiled a 40-foot tall slide that twists down four stories. If you spend $22 at the airport you can redeem tokens for two rides on the Slide@T3 or enjoy a shorter ride for free. These people really know how to entertain you on a layover. There is also a cinema, a Butterfly Garden, rooftop swimming pool and spa. Sounds like a destination in itself. To see a video of the making of the slide visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc9EuwKq96w

Pick of the Week

I'm lovin' my iPhone and have used it to watch TV shows during long flights. (My current fav is 'The Good Wife'). Now I don't have to worry about holding it while catching up on season 1. The PodFlexPro is a flexible sleeve that I can slip my iPhone into, bend into position, and set on the tray or seatback pocket in front of me. This would also come in useful when I work out and want to listen to the latest podcast of "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me." Available for $24.95 at www.podflexpro.com
