Rockin' the Robe
If you've stayed at a Kimpton Hotel, you've seen their adorable signature animal print robes. Now you have a chance to win one. To celebrate its 10th anniversary Kimpton is giving away robes all month. People who like Kimpton on Facebook may win one of the three prints - giraffe, zebra and cheetah – that will be given away each month. Or be one of the first 10 to tweet "I want my warm fuzzy" next Friday with hashtag #rocktherobe. You can also buy one at 30 percent off during October on Kimptonstyle.com.
Breast Cancer Month
Bring on the pink! More and more companies are supporting the important cause of fighting cancer. Chef Mark Quitney (pictured) of 5 Fifty 5 at the New Orleans Marriott will be creating a special menu while sporting a pink chef's coat during the month, with 10% of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Spa at the Marco Island Marriott is offering the Power of Pink package that includes 2 50-minute spa packages, with $5 from each going to breast cancer research during October.
Sweet Treats
Sweet Sally's Bakeshop is cooking up two treats in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. A girly take on the black-and white-cookie, the shop is making pink-and-white ones. The Layers of Love is a pink rainbow cake. All of the shop's goods are made from all natural ingredients and can be shipped nationwide. Check out the the site for a full line of yummy treats.

Pick of the Week
I haven't been a big fan of stainless steel water bottles. With the narrow opening they are so hard to clean and I didn't like the metallic taste I often got when drinking from one. This H2Duo water bottle from Seattle Sports solves both problems. It is made with a large upper half that screws off and can be used as a cup. And the opening is large enough so you can easily add ice or clean it. $15.99 at Amazon.com
